It’s A New Year; Same As The Last Year

Brush pens and worrying about the new year.

I have been watching videos of artists drawing these amazing comics using just a brush pen (or just a brush) and I have been overcome with jealousy. I decided this is the year I learn to master my neglected brush pens properly.

Right off the bat, I found the tip of my brush pen was extremely messed up. It currently has four tips instead of one perfect point. It’s an easy fix, but the fix tends to put the pen out of commission until it’s dry. I’m sure I have some spare brush pens kicking around, but they’re likely in the same state as this one. I may just speed up my timeline and see how I do with an actual brush and ink.
